USSmoked it at 250 in my BGE for Christmas. Delicious tasting and so tender we used regular dinner knives at the table.

USI was hoping for something special this holiday season, but it alluded me. The rib eye came nicely packaged and in great order, but the first thing I noticed it had a very big taper in the size of the meat. My many years of preparing this cut of meat had me expecting a 5 lb. roast to have 2 bones and a relatively consistent shape. Not this puppy. It started with a very small rib eye and then descended to a munchkin sized rib eye portion. I only kept up high hopes until Christmas eve, when I went to my local store to get a normally shaped rib eye. My expectation and well as my method to roast a rib eye would surely have met with some very over done roast on one side and who know what on the other. So, sorry to say, it stayed in the freezer until I figure out how to even make this into either a very tiny 2 rib roast and maybe 2 steaks or whatever. So, hence my review, quality not consumed is not something that I could recommend.
USMade this for Christmas and the taste was amazing! So much flavor!!
