A First Light brisket is unlike any other grass-fed beef brisket. Because of the high level of intramuscular fat compared to regular grass-fed beef a First Light brisket maintains moisture throughout the cooking process resulting is a juicy delicious brisket. Average weight is 8-9 pounds.

USBest brisket I’ve made so far. Only wish they were slightly larger, but that’s probably just the nature of grass fed. Excellent quality and fast shipping.
USReally good. I like the grassfed aspect, but being waygu keeps some, but not all, the standard marbling. Cooked like a non-grassfed brisket and overdid it. Recommend a shorter smoke/wrap period, or at least pay more attention, less forgoving than grain fed. But delicious!
USCannot wait to try the brisket. I have not cooked it as of yet. The packaging and delivery went great. I have never had a wagyu brisket before so I can’t wait to try it. Will do a follow up review next week since I am cooking and serving it in four days
