Our Beef Tallow is made from 100% grass fed Wagyu beef rendered trim fat from New Zealand. Tallow is a liquid when heated and a solid when cool, making it a great substitution for oil and butter in recipes.
Comes in a 14oz glass jar.
Storage instructions: Store in a cool, dry place. Never put Tallow down the drain. Tallow will solidify and won’t go rancid for up to one year if kept at room temperature. However, we recommend that you store your tallow in the refrigerator to extend its shelf life significantly!
First Light Wagyu Tallow is gluten and dairy free and contains no preservatives, antibiotics, or added hormones.

USI eat an animal based diet; First Light is my go-to tallow brand. I have tried many other commercial brands available, for a while I was also getting some at my local farmer's market. First Light's tallow is a bit different then the others - most times I've gotten it, it's just a touch melty at room temp, and it has a great nutty flavor. It's on my list of "must have in stock at all times" items. Love it so much!!
