USI haven't enjoyed any game meat since my husband, an avid hunter, passed 16 years ago. The backstrap tasted magical, everything I remembered and more. I extremely recommend this, and look forward to more shipments.
USThis was my wife’s first time trying elk and she is liking it more than beef.
USWhen I opened up my shipment where I had ordered 2 Elk Back Strap Portions, to be honest, I was quite surprised and not in a good way. After I lifted off the dry ice packs and lots of brown paper there were 2 mini pieces of meat. One was stamped .79 of a lb the other .99 of a lb Both were processed back in 2023. This was a compensation order for my first order which had a 2022 slaughter date and had freezer burn. I thought with the cost and limited supply that the meat would be processed within the year and when supply was out it was out. I enjoyed the burger I ordered before but this order was disappointing.
USThe elk meat was great.. but noticed that the price i was charged $85 per package is now $45 ?
