This is a full Wagyu Beef Brisket. An ideal cut for cooking low and slow on the barbecue, oven or slow cooker.
A First Light 100% grass-fed Wagyu Brisket is unlike any other grass-fed beef brisket. Because of the high level of intramuscular fat compared to regular grass-fed beef a First Light Brisket maintains moisture throughout the cooking process resulting in a juicy delicious brisket.
Marbling note: Our Briskets all have beautiful marbling, but some are marbled more than others. Unfortunately, you can’t specify a specific grade in your order. Due to stock practicalities, we don’t always have all weight variants available.

This item is delivered chilled. If this is purchased with frozen product, your items will be shipped together. Orders are dispatched Mon-Thurs on an overnight service with NZ Couriers for delivery the following day.
We deliver to all urban North and South Island addresses. Orders are dispatched Monday – Thursday on an overnight service for delivery the following day. Our shipping rate is $9.50 nationwide and we offer free delivery for all orders over $200.
We aim to get your order processed and dispatched within 2 working days. Once your order is dispatched, an automated track and trace email will be sent so you can track your order from depot to door. Please check your spam folder if you don’t receive this.
All orders containing perishable product are shipped with authority to leave instructions. We are unable to deliver directly to rural addresses as an overnight service is not available. For our rural customers, we have the option to deliver your order to the nearest NZ Courier depot or agent for collection. We will contact you to confirm collection before dispatching your order.

NZI have smoked briskts before but this was the 1st time I did wagyu. Bought a 4.5kg piece and paid just over $100 - which is also a bargain in my opinion. When I go to supermarket I see a regular beeg brisket for the prices from 20-30$ per kilo. Had arrived nicely packed and protected with cold packs. I had time to trim and season the brisket and leave it overnight. Then, I smoked it over a mix of cherry, apple and manuka wood for 6 hours and oh my god!! It was soooo juicy and tender and full of flavour. Since we cooked a large piece, we put it in everything, like sandwiches, tortillas, etc. Also, rendered some clean fat from the trimmings and now I have some wagyu tallow to cook with. This is so worth the price, and If you buy it, you will not be disappointed - remember to slow cook it. I will be trying other flavorful cuts, too. You guys rock!!
