We created our dog food line with Dr. Mark Roberts, PhD in Dog Nutrition, who works as a canine evolutionary nutritionist. As descendants of wolves, dogs have moved from consuming a diet rich in fat and protein to one dominated by carbohydrate. This change in diet has not been made by dogs themselves, rather mankind’s ability to master and maximize agricultural productivity over time. Today, dog owners are bombarded with a seemingly never-ending number of claims of why to fed a certain diet. His goal is to use a scientific approach to examine diets and nutrition collectively, and make it less stressful in deciding what to feed the furry member of the family.
Refer to the dog food calculator towards the bottom of this page. Our feeding guide is based on an average dog and its energy needs. Please be aware that the amount of food required to maintain your dog’s ideal weight may vary depending on its breed, age, and activity levels.
We deliver to all urban North and South Island addresses. Orders are dispatched Monday – Thursday on an overnight service for delivery the following day. Our shipping rate is $9.50 nationwide and we offer free delivery for all orders over $200.
We aim to get your order processed and dispatched within 2 working days. Once your order is dispatched, an automated track and trace email will be sent so you can track your order from depot to door. Please check your spam folder if you don’t receive this.
All orders containing perishable product are shipped with authority to leave instructions. We are unable to deliver directly to rural addresses as an overnight service is not available. For our rural customers, we have the option to deliver your order to the nearest NZ Courier depot or agent for collection. We will contact you to confirm collection before dispatching your order.
